POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man wanted for questioning about a theft from the meat counter at a Bishop Auckland supermarket.
The man arrived at the Asda store, in South Church Road, at 1.15pm on Saturday, August 18.
He chose two joints of meat from the display and put them in a carrier bag he had taken with him.
When staff challenged him after he left without paying, he put the bag on the ground and walked away shouting abuse at them.
He is white, aged between 40 and 50, about 5ft 6ins, with dark receding hair.
