TODDLERS produced a collage to support a project to turn a disused bridge into a bridleway and footpath.
Youngsters at the Busy Bees pre-School group, in Brompton on Swale, near Richmond, filled a picture with colours to make up the emblem of the Bridge the Gap project.
The scheme is one of nearly 60 across the UK which forms a bid by green transport charity Sustrans to win up to £50,000 of lottery funding. The bid will compete against five others from the country in a televised vote in December.
The children were each presented with a small gift from the parish council for their support.
They will attend the project's official launch today at Catterick racecourse car park, to be performed by Richmond MP William Hague at 12.30pm.
