THE latest in a series of audio walks which can be downloaded as podcasts to MP3 players has been launched.
Swaledale is the fourth trail in a collection from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Accompanying maps can be printed from the authority's website, www.yorkshiredales.org.uk
Last year, the authority launched an audio trail around the park's famous landmark Ribblehead viaduct. Podcasts of Malhamdale, Lower Wharfedale and Ribblesdale followed.
Karen Griffiths, the authority's interpretation officer, said: "The audio trails are a great way of finding out more about different features, ranging from ancient burial sites through to 18th Century farmhouses."
