A DEBT counselling charity is asking for help for families suffering financial difficulties.
For five days over Christmas, up to 100 of Christians Against Poverty's (Cap) clients will stay in the restored 18th Century mansion, Sunbury Court, in Middlesex.
Cap is looking for a Christmas tree, decorations, crackers, gifts, gift vouchers and anything else that will help to make it a break to remember.
Susan Sadler, from Cap Newton Aycliffe, said: "For many people in debt, Christmas is not a time of joy and cheer, it can be the hardest time for people."
Anyone who can help is asked to call 01325-317046.
