SPOOKY goings on were happening at Bishop Auckland Town Hall yesterday when toddlers took part in a Halloween craft session.
Several members of the Twiglets toddler session, which is held monthly at the town hall library, took part in the seasonal craft event.
Children made pumpkin paintings with potato moulds and scary spiders with glitter and materials.
Sharon Carrick, a library assistant at the town hall who helps run the group, said: "The children have really enjoyed making Halloween things, it's something a bit different for them."
Jill Stephenson, 37, attended the session with her three-year-old daughter, Catherine. She said: "It's a lovely session and Catherine has really enjoyed herself."
Twiglets sessions are held at the library on the first Wednesday of every month and cost 50p per session. They are aimed at pre-school children and sessions take place from 10.30am to 11.30am, and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
