A COUNCIL is making parking easier for disabled drivers, with a revamped blue badge scheme.
The scheme, which allows disabled people to use parking bays and car parks free across Stockton borough, is being extended to include parents of children under two years old who have certain disabilities.
Badges, which normally run for three years, will also be available for shorter periods for those with temporary disabilities.
New badges will be issued from Monday, October 15, with existing badges valid until they expire.
