A WOMAN was robbed after she was knocked to the floor by a man who stole her handbag.
The 61-year-old was attacked on Bowesfield Avenue in Stockton, near to the junction of Lightfoot Grove on Friday, December 28 at 7.55pm.
Cleveland Police said the victim was approached by a man who knocked her to the floor and then stole her bag.
The man was described as wearing dark clothing and ran off in the direction of ‘Chuggy Park’ following the incident.
