COMEDY, music, children's show and poignant events feature in Bishop Auckland Town Hall's spring season.

Music fans will enjoy The Seahorses frontman Chris Helme on Friday, February 1, tribute nights including Rod Stewart: Tribute by Bob Wyper on Friday, February 8, Little Mix Magic on Sunday, February 17 and Swede Dreamz ABBA on Friday, March 22 along with the return of the venue's lunchtime jazz concerts.

Some of 2018's biggest movies will be shown in the cinema and Hilarity Bites sessions start on Friday, January 18 with Jason Cook.

Family entertainment will include There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly on Saturday, March 23 and pop songs and puppets feature in The Little Mermaid on Wednesday, April 10. Lego Block Parties and drama and music workshops will be held during the February holidays.

To mark Holocaust Memorial Day on Saturday, January 26 a free ticketed talk by survivor Eva Clarke will feature school perform-ances and an exhibition on the Durham Light Infantry’s role in the liberation of Bergen-Belen death camp. The No Man’s Land exhibition–from Saturday, January 26 to Saturday, April 6– will give rarely seen female perspectives of the First World War. Talks, events and workshops will run alongside it.
