TWO men have been charged with murder following the death of a man found with laceration injuries.
Cleveland Police were called to Westbourne Street at around 7.15am on Sunday, where a 43-year-old man had suffered serious lacerations to his body. He later died in hospital.
A few hours prior to the incident, officers were called to a report of another incident on Yarm Road at around 05.45am which resulted in a 36-year-old man being taken to hospital with a head injury and lacerations to his torso. He has now been released from hospital.
Police have now charged two men aged 18 and 39 with murder in connection with the alleged incident.
They will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Two other men aged 20 and 29 who were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent have been released under investigation.
