A MAN has suffered a head injury following a suspected road-rage incident on Friday afternoon.

The victim, aged 50, was found injured next to a red Ford Fiesta on Adam Street, in the Bowesfield Industrial Estate area of Stockton, at around 12.35pm.

Cleveland Police believe that there had been an incident involving the man and another man who was travelling in a white Ford Transit van.

A spokeswoman said: "The incident is believed to have started on 1825 Way in Ingleby Barwick at the traffic lights with the junction of The Rings. Both vehicles travelled in the direction of Stockton.

"The victim was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees by ambulance and he was released from hospital on Sunday. Officers would like to appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage which may assist police with their investigation."
