A TEN-week series of silent films begins at Durham's Clayport Library next week.
The programme, called Exploring the Silent Cinema, focuses on European films made between 1911 and 1921.
Among those to be screened are Witches, Parson's Widow and Leaves From Satan's Book, by Carl Dreyer. Also on offer are Anna Boleyn and Wild Cat.
