A GROUP rose to the challenge of drinking in every pub in Gilling West and Richmond to raise money for charity.
The Light Ale Walkers donned pink T-shirts and collected £1,000 towards Breast Cancer Haven.
Havens are day centres staffed by specialist teams who provide support, information and complementary therapies before, during and after medical treatment for breast cancer.
The money raised by the Light Ale Walkers will go towards the £2.2m needed for a haven in Leeds.
The pink army included Peter Conley, Paul Conley, Mike Conley, Gary Conley, Paul Teasdale, Anth Teasdale, Gary Scott, Dave Cardus, Chris Povey, Kirsty Grant and Amy Crisp.
