COUNTY Durham youngsters with ambitions of becoming professional dancers are being invited to audition for a training scheme.
The Newcastle-based Dance City Academy is looking for dancers aged between 11 and 19.
The academy aims to give young people a standard of training with professional dance teachers and artists.
Classes provide strong basic training in contemporary and classical ballet technique in a fun and creative environment.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 20 in the Shakespeare Hall, North Road, Durham. The first session will be from 10am to 11.30am and the other from 11.30am to 1pm.
