AN exhibition reliving the glory days of amateur football in south Durham opens today.
Durham Amateur Football Trust will display a collection of photographs and memorabilia at Shildon Library, until Saturday, October 20.
It will highlight the success of south Durham teams from the Forties to the Sixties and include a look at the history of Shildon Town Football Club.
There will also be a film showing, which includes newsreel from 1935 to 1964, at Shildon Town Football Club's social club, on Friday, October 19, at 7pm. There is no admission charge.
