Under 10 Colts 3 - 3 Cumby Rovers GOALSCORERS: Chris Jary (2) Own goal (1) M.O.M:Caleb Padurariu REPORT: An injury and absentee hit squad performed well showing great determination and teamwork to achieve a well deserved draw - although it could have been a win given the quality of the football. Allstars were put on the back foot early on from a lucky long shot which looped into the net but at half time honours were even. Cumby snatched the lead twice more as Allstars created the chances but didn't have the finishing touch. With 5 minutes to go Allstars were behind and a harsh defeat on the cards until the constant pressure paid dividends and Jary scored his second. The last minutes saw Allstars throw everything at Cumby but a draw was the result. Superb effort and skill from Caleb Padurariu earned him the Man of the Match award and it was pleasing for both coaches and parents to see other squad players play well as a team yet again.
The second game was also a draw 1-1 with Matthew Nesbitt-Reay scoring with Cumby pulling level this time - Allsatrs having chances to win the game though. Matthew Bell was cool as ice in defence with his timely interceptions and thoughtful passing earning him the Man of the Match award.
Same again next week but a little bit sharper.

Man Of The Match Jordan Grieves scored 5 of the goals including a penalty, James Collins scored 2 and made 3 more , Ben Hastie's fine solo effort and Adam Boyle's powerful strike completed the scoring. The passing and movement of the whole team was outstanding and with better finishing the margin of victory could have been even greater.
