A BEST-SELLING North Yorkshire author has signed copies of her novel at a book festival.
Diane Setterfield made a big impression in the US with her debut novel, The Thirteenth Tale. The book took the number one spot in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Publishers Weekly charts, selling 70,000 copies in its first week.
Ms Setterfield, from Harrogate, is also a finalist in the Yorkshire Book of the Year Awards.
The awards are part of Richmond Walking and Book Festival, which will end on Sunday.
She signed copies of her book at the Yorkshire Building Society office in Richmond Market Place yesterday. The society is sponsoring the awards.
