Ferryhill Under 12's Sponsored Patterson Windows played host to Southpark Rangers (B) in the league, hoping to continue their 100% start to the season, and were soon on the attack with some good passing football. Southpark soaked up a lot of early pressure with some good defensive work but when Dale Nunn opened the scoring on 17 minutes, Ferryhill looked like they could take control of the game. And so it proved when Connor Dunlavey scored on 29 minutes. After the break Ferryhill continued to bombard the Rangers' goal, and with Nathan Carr providing quality crosses from the left it wasn't long before Dunlavey added a third on 33 minutes. Jordan Ball and Callum Walton were providing great balls forward and Dunlavey got his hat trick on 34 minutes. Good passing between Callum Johnson and Dale Nunn sent Dunlavey through to claim his fourth and Ferryhill's fifth on 37 minutes. Johnson soon added a sixth on 39 minutes and Nunn got his second on 41. Rangers were awarded a penalty which they converted on 43 minutes. This was no more than a consolation and Ferryhill continued to dominate and they too were awarded a penalty which Dunlavey scored on 53 minutes. Nathan Carr rounded off the scoring in the last minute when he drove home from a tight angle to make the final score 9 - 1. Man of the Match went to Callum Walton.
