POLICE are investigating the death of a middle-aged man found dead in a factory yesterday.
The man, in his mid-50s, was discovered at 1.30pm yesterday at Middleton Minature Mouldings, on the Harmire Industrial Estate in Barnard Castle, County Durham.
A police spokesman said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious but the circumstances are being investigated and we are awaiting the results of a post mortem, scheduled for Tuesday morning."
The man has not been formally identified but his family and the coroner have been informed.
Middleton Miniature Mouldings specialise in the manufacture of miniature injection mouldings and was set up by Teesdale businessman Ashley Renham a year ago.
