A VICTORIAN town house is on the market and open to offers.
The Firs, in Hartlepool's Westbourne Road, was previously used as a hostel, but is now surplus to the requirements of Hartlepool Borough Council.
The closing date for sealed bids is 1pm on Thursday.
Built about 1880, the double-gabled house as seven en-suite bedrooms, two attic rooms, dining room, lounge, office, kitchen, basement, laundry, storage space and two gardens.
The sale particulars state: "It is considered that (it) could be adapted with little cost to the purchaser to form a family home.
"The property currently has planning consent as a hostel, but it is considered that the property would be suitable for residential use."
