A CHURCH hall has new toilets after receiving a grant.
Holy Trinity Church Hall, in Cornforth, now has modern toilets, thanks to an £11,000 grant from local company The Banks Group.
The toilets include full facilities for disabled users and families.
The hall is used by a range of community groups, including the Brownies and Scouts and the Ladies' Fellowship, and is also used for church social events.
The existing toilet facilities were old and had limited accessibility, which put limitations on the use of the hall.
An existing room has been converted, with the addition of a tiled ceiling, walls, floors and doors.
It is hoped that the updated facilities will enable more events to be hosted by the church.
Banks Group environment and community director Mark Dowdall said: "Strong communities are built around facilities like the Holy Trinity Church Hall, and the importance of this venue within the village cannot be underestimated.
"We are very pleased to be able to help such a valuable community venue."
