A TEENAGER will appear in court today charged with the murder of a man found dying from stab wounds in a van.
Robert Richardson was slumped at the wheel of a heating company vehicle in Gosforth, Newcastle, when police arrived at the scene, shortly before 4pm on Friday.
It is understood he received stab wounds in a house in nearby Kirkley Close and was trying to get away in the van.
Mr Richardson, 33, of Kenton, Newcastle, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at hospital.
A 29-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 19-year-old, Lee Scott Cruddas, of Great North Road, in Gosforth, was yesterday charged with murder.
He was detained in custody and will appear at Newcastle Magistrates' Court this morning.
The woman was yesterday bailed by police pending inquiries.
A 20-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They were released pending inquiries.
Police would like to hear from witnesses to events in Kirkley Close and surrounding streets on Friday afternoon and evening.
