HOUSEHOLDERS had to be evacuated from their homes after a fire broke out on an industrial estate.
The evacuation of around 80 people was ordered after gas cylinders were found at a spray shopon the Leeming Bar estate, near Bedale, North Yorkshire on Thursday night.
The residents were allowed to return home early on Friday morning.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service described the fire was "very severe" and a 200m "hazard zone" was set up to ensure public safety.
