ORGANISERS of the first festival to celebrate life in Upper Wensleydale say that the event will go ahead this weekend - despite foot-and-mouth restrictions.
The Dales Harvest, centred on the town of Hawes, will be opened by Richmond MP William Hague at noon on Saturday.
BBC Gardeners' World presenter Carol Klein and horse whisperer Sarah Kreutzer are among the guests. Food and drink producers will show off their wares and there are arts and crafts, exhibitions, vintage machinery and other attractions.
