CHILDREN have been learning how green their school is while picking up tips to reduce their carbon footprint.
How green is your school? was the question students at St Hild's School were asked when they took part in the education initiative from BP.
Children aged 14 to 16 took part in an interactive Carbon Challenge roadshow at their Hartlepool school, looking at the social, environmental and economic implications.
Science teacher Karen Stainthorpe said: "The activities allowed for both those of lower ability and the most able to be stretched."
