GARDENERS battled to be top of the crops at a leek show held at the weekend.
The event was held at The Sportsman's Inn, in Toft Hill, on Saturday and Sunday.
Judging took place on Saturday ahead of a presentation evening the same night, and proceeds went to senior citizens in Toft Hill and Etherley.
Landlord John McMennum said: "Many thanks to all who entered the open classes and made the show such a colourful success."
The show's annual meeting is on Monday in The Sporstsman's Inn, at 9pm, and new members are welcome.
Nigel Henderson won the best leeks in show, and Terry Snowdon had the most points. The full results are as follows:
