A MAN who was filmed urinating on a dying woman was last night facing jail.
Anthony Anderson laughed as he carried out the assault, telling his friend: "This is YouTube material."
The 27-year-old was watched by a laughing crowd as he carried out a series of humiliating attacks on Christine Lakinski.
Disabled Miss Lakinski had collapsed on her doorstep as she returned home from visiting a friend.
But instead of helping the 50-year-old, Hartlepool Magistrates' Court heard how Anderson:
* Called her a "smackhead" and a drunk before kicking her feet;
* Emptied a bowl of water on her head;
* Covered her in shaving foam;
* Urinated on her as a friend filmed the act on a mobile phone.
Anderson pleaded guilty to outraging public decency when he appeared before magistrates yesterday.
The court heard that Anderson, of Raby Road, Hartlepool, laughed as he carried out the attack on July 26.
Miss Lakinski's home was opposite the house Anderson shared with another man.
Anderson told police he had smoked a cannabis joint with his housemate. He had also drank a litre of wine and half a bottle of sherry before getting ready for a night out.
When another friend arrived at Anderson's house, they spotted Miss Lakinski lying on the pavement.
Lynne Dalton, prosecuting, said: "The defendant went into the street wearing shorts and a towel round his waist. He said Miss Lakinski must either be a smackhead or a drunk, and tried to rouse her by kicking the sole of her foot.
"She groaned, but did not move or open her eyes.
"Anderson said 'I'll wake her up - I'm going to get a bucket of water'.
"He went back inside the house and returned with a washing up bowl filled with water, which he threw over her."
Anderson then covered his helpless victim from head to foot in shaving foam, before telling his friends 'I am just going to p**s on her'."
As he did so, Anderson shouted: "This is YouTube material."
Miss Lakinski was still lying in the same position an hour later, as the group left to go out for a drinking session.
They called the emergency services and went into Hartlepool town centre, where Anderson was later arrested in a nightclub.
Miss Lakinski, who was described as vulnerable and had a number of medical problems, was pronounced dead at the scene, having suffered pancreatic failure.
Mrs Dalton said: "Although the actions of the defendant were not contributory to her death, his appalling behaviour robbed her of any dignity in the last hours of her life.
"His friends have expressed disgust at what they saw and what they did.
"No human being deserves the humiliation or degradation this lady was put through."
Mrs Dalton urged the magistrates to transfer the case to crown court for sentencing, because their maximum sentencing powers of six months in prison were insufficient.
The bench agreed and transferred the case to Teesside Crown Court for sentencing in the week commencing October 22.
John Relton, representing Anderson, did not oppose the application.
He said: "My client's expectation was that you would not deal with this matter.
"Mr Anderson does wish to apologise for the distress caused to Miss Lakinski and her family.
"He awaits whatever punishment comes to him."
After the hearing, the victim's brother, Mark Lakinski, spoke on behalf of the family.
He said: "We are pleased that the matter is being dealt with accordingly. We will await the outcome and just hope he gets what he deserves.
