SEAHAM Hall & Serenity Spa, the luxury hotel and spa destination resort in Seaham, County Durham, was tonight awarded the title of Small Hotel of the Year Award at the annual North-East Tourism Awards.
The ceremony was held at the national Glass Centre in Sunderland to showcase the work under taken by tourism providers.
In order to win the coveted award for Small Hotel of the Year, Seaham Hall & Serenity Spa first had to fulfill strict criteria for the outstanding quality of the hotel and spa, food and staff.
It has previously been named Condenast Traveller Destination Hotel and Spa of the Year and Best Spa in the World at the Gala Spa Awards in 2006.
Commenting on the award, Chief Executive Debrah Dhugga,said: "We are absolutely delighted to receive such an accolade.
"We are passionate about our work, customers and colleagues and are grateful to be recognized as being one of the leaders to drive tourism to our region."
