ENGLAND one-day captain Paul Collingwood has been fined after admitting he visited a lap-dancing bar the day before he was out for a duck in the vital World Twenty20 match against South Africa.
The Durham ace had earlier apologised for his "mistake", admitting the visit to the Cape Town strip club was "unacceptable", but after a meeting of England's management committee on Tuesday night, it was decided Collingwood should receive a fine of about £1,000 for his behaviour.
"It's obviously unacceptable and I'll have to learn from that," admitted Collingwood on Tuesday following England's five-run defeat by New Zealand.
