NORTHERN Rock is enduring another disasterous day on the London Stock Exchange as its share price continues to tumble.
Over the past few hours shares have dropped by more than 30 per cent to below 300p.
The bank has seen more than £1.32bn wiped off its stock market value since Friday, when it called on the Bank of England for emergency financial support.
Over the past seven months, shares in Northern Rock have plunged from 1,251p to a low at 11.30am today of just 298p.
