A RESIDENTS' association is holding a good neighbour fun day for its community.
The event is being organised by the Rift House East Residents' Association and is due to take place at noon on Saturday at the Rift House recreation ground, Hartlepool.
Chairman Christopher Akers-Belcher said: "The residents' association is in its infancy, and I believe the event will strengthen the community, promoting the ethos of a good neighbourhood, and advertise more strongly the effectiveness of residents' associations."
Attractions include a fun fair, bouncy castle and slide, climbing tower, disco and DJ.
There will also be face-painting, displays by Hartlepool Sea Cadets and jazz.
A car boot sale will be held before the fun day, from 9am to noon.
Pitches, costing £5 per vehicle, can be booked on 01429-271747.
The fun event will be followed by a free evening of entertainment in the Woodcutter public house, from 7pm to 11pm.
