A LEARNING centre was all Greek at the weekend, as students revealed the fruits of a summer project.
A total of 31 year nine students from five Hartlepool secondary schools - Brierton, English Martyrs, High Tunstall, Manor College of Technology and St Hild's - have spent nine months studying aspects of Greek culture.
The youngsters, aged 14 to 15, studied a range of topics, including the Greek language, food, history, costume and the Olympics.
In July, they spent ten days in Greece carrying out research.
They displayed their project work at Hartlepool's City Learning Centre, in Mapleton Road, where they received certificates from the town's MP, Iain Wright.
