A PARISH council has helped a variety of community groups in the latest round of its grant scheme.
Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council agreed to make the following payments to organisations:
* Redcar and Cleveland Citizens Advice Bureau - £50 towards outreach sources in the community.
* Marske Fishermen's Choir - £40 towards its Ruby Jubilee Celebration.
* Saltburn 500 Club - £150 towards sponsorship of a summer band concert at Saltburn bandstand.
* Marske by the Sea Methodist Church - £150 towards the cost of lowering its stage to floor level.
* Saltburn Primary School Gardening Club - £60 towards T-shirts for the children.
* New Marske Boys' Brigade - £150 towards fuel costs for their anuual camp.
* Saltburn Junior Football Club - £175 towards organising a football competition in July.
* Marske Leisure Centre - £1,500 towards improvements to the centre.
* Saltburn Community and Arts Association - £1,250 towards repairs to its building.
* Marske Community Partnership - £600 towards Marske's Christmas festival.
* Saltburn Christmas Lights group - £600 towards Christmas festivities and an additional £380 towards lighting in Milton Street.
