CHILDREN at a school have celebrated the work of a popular author.
Pupils at Colburn Primary School marked Roald Dahl Day by dressing up in costumes, reading books and making recipes.
Sarah Beveridge, assistant headteacher, said: "The whole of the curriculum was delivered through Roald Dahl for years two and upwards.
"The children have been having fun taking part in activities based around literacy."
Other activities based on the work of the author will take place at the school in coming weeks.
