Adults in a rural area are being invited to go back to school for one afternoon a week if they want to brush up on their maths or English skills.
A free class is being started at the comprehensive school in Staindrop, near Barnard Castle.
The classes are being run by the Leap Skills for Life Centre. Tutor Janice Cartwright said: "This is a great opportunity to gain a qualification in maths or English."
Sessions start on Monday, from 1pm until 3pm. To book, call 01833-690281.
