SPORTS coaches were a big hit with children, when they held squash classes in their school.
Players from Sedgefield Squash Club taught pupils at West Cornforth Primary School about the game yesterday afternoon. The session - for seven to 11-year-olds - was set up through Sedgefield School Sport Partnership. Headteacher Janet Sarsfield said: "It was about teaching them to try different sports they may not have had an opportunity to engage in before - to encourage them to find an activity they enjoy and to find out about clubs they can join outside of school.
"It fits in with our efforts to promote physical activity."
