RAF veterans will pay tribute to men and women serving in the Armed Forces when an annual service of remembrance is held in Stockton on Sunday.
Members of the Stockton and Thornaby branch of the Royal Air Forces Association are to hold their Battle of Britain remembrance service and parade in Yarm Lane, starting at 10.30am.
Cleveland Police Band will lead the parade along High Street for a wreath-laying ceremony and church service.
Denis Grubb, president of the branch, said: "Our servicemen and women are showing the same devotion to duty as was shown in 1940, when the Battle of Britain was won and fought.
"They are putting their lives on the line on a daily basis and we will be thinking of them."
