THE region's biggest dog show will start tomorrow, with owners from across Britain and abroad expected to attend.
The 39th Darlington Dog Society Championship Dog Show will run until Sunday.
The event is being held at Newby Hall, near Ripon.
The event will start with the hound, terrier and utility groups on the first day, with working and pastoral groups on the second day, and gundogs, including for the first time the kooikerhondje breed, and toy groups on the last day.
The best in show and best veteran in show will then be decided.
Only dogs entered for the show are allowed on the showfield.
Admission is £5 for adults, £3 for pensioners and children, and free for under-fours. Parking is £5.
