A COUNCIL is inviting people to air their views on its racial equality services at an event held on Friday.
Following an event last year focusing on disability, Stockton Borough Council's diversity team has organised a similar meeting at the Arc, in the town's Dovecot Street, from 12.30pm to 8pm.
Representatives from the council, Tees Active, Tristar Housing, Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade, the Cornerhouse Youth Project and North Tees Primary Care Trust will promote their work and gather opinions about the services they deliver.
There will also be representatives from Connexions, Stockton Residents and Community Group Association, the Participation, Involvement and Consultation Network and the Stockton International Family Centre.
Several fun workshops will take place throughout the day, including Kick Racism Out, health sessions, black history, henna painting, a graffiti wall and cultural workshops, giving people the chance to learn new skills.
