SIX dog lovers raised £3,200 for Guide Dogs for the Blind by completing a punishing exercise challenge.
The group, who called themselves Team Doghouse, consisted of Dan and Katherine Cadman, who run Dog House boarding kennels, at Redgate Grange Farm, near Wolsingham, along with team-mates Thomas Edwards, Alan Unsworth, Jim Tucker and Ian Neil.
They all successfully completed the Coniston Challenge, in the Lake District, earlier this month.
They embarked on a 12-mile cycle ride through Grizdale forest, a canoe race across Coniston water, then a hike to the top of the 2,635ft Old Man of Coniston.
Mrs Cadman said: "It was a tiring challenge, we were sixth out of 32 teams - not bad, though there is room for improvement. We love dogs and wanted to do something different to help.
"Team Doghouse would like to thank everyone who helped us raise the money.
