Newblood Live Aug 31st 2007 Market Square Darlington.
After admittedly arriving late despite my best efforts in running for the bus I managed to catch the end of Bubblegum Thrash and their 'bubbly' performance at Darlington Market Square.
Apologies to the previous band who I'm sure by the way the crowd was gathering had managed to gain some kind of recognition. So after gathering myself and managing to find a good place to take some pictures The Brass Bandits came on.
With catchy songs and a funky brass streak the boys sure caught the attention of the audience, even one man short! A brilliant performance that even included a fun and funky cover of the classic tune Ghostbusters that really got everybody moving.
Belladonna, the second from last performance but certainly not anywhere near the least managed to get everybody raving.
The electro-pop-punk female duo even managed to attract people out from the local bar scene, kids from 12 right up to adults thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
And lastly, The Felons, now if you had never witnessed them play live before you might have had a shock, the all-male indie-rock band unquestionably throw themselves about.
With hyperactive front man David Saunders they definitely are one to watch, with even the crowd forming a giant conga' around the market square.
To top it all off, he ended his performance by throwing his tambor-tamborine out into the audience only to be caught by me stood way at the back! A good night for everyone!
