A LORRY driver escaped unhurt after a teenager hurled a brick at his windscreen from a bridge over the A66.
The incident happened in the Heywood Street area of Middlesbrough at about 6pm last Tuesday.
The driver, who was carrying cars on a specialist vehicle, noticed two boys on the bridge above the road.
One of them threw a brick at the windscreen. The driver was shaken but unhurt.
The two boys are believed to be between 13 and 15. One was taller and the other had a plump build. Both were wearing hooded tops and jeans.
PC Carl Cooper, said: "This is an extremely dangerous thing to do, and it's lucky the driver wasn't injured or even killed."
