21st Allstars match reports Under 12's 1 - 7 Ferryhill Goalscorer;Bale M.o.m;Jonathan Bale.
Playing for the first time together the under 12's where defeated but they had only 9 players on their team . It was a determined effort by the lads and the supporters who never gave up on the team and were rewarded with an excellent team goal when Johnathan Bale cracked one in.Well done lads a tremendous effort for a new squad.
Allstars 11's 3 - 6 California boys.
The game started very evenly, allstars would have been 2 - 0 up but the defending from California boys were excellent.
California boys first chance was not cleared and they placed the ball in the back of the net closely followed by another 2 goals.
Allstars started playing better and managed to get a goal back scored by Ben Simpson.
Second half Allstars started pushing forwards and with a brilliant finish by Jake Moore made it 4-2 but the opposition scored a goal on the break straight away.
Allstars was awarded a penalty which was taken by captain Arron Franklin who slotted the ball confidently in the net.
The game could have been a draw as allstars had 3 clear chances with only the goalkeeper to beat but it wasn't to be and the opposition scored from a free kick.
The boys had a hard game to start there first year at 11 a side but there was plenty of positive to be taken from the game.
Man of the match was Scott Pattison who played excellently down the left and deserved man of the match after his performance Score 6-3 Allstars u17,s 2 - 4 Grange Town Goalscorers; Farlow, Edwards M.o.m; Scott Hastie Allstars went a goal down early on but battled hard to create a load of chances but just couldn't score.
