The Masons played hosts to second division Evenwood Town in the Albert Vickers Cup and enjoyed a 7-0 win.

Ashley Wilson opened the scoring after 15 mins with Jonny Pennock scoring the second from close range only 5 minutes later following a corner. A bizarre own goal made it 3-0 and just before half time Lee Atkinson scored from the penalty spot after John Savage was tripped in the box.

In the second half Evenwood kept trying to play football and had a couple of skillful young players who caused a few problems for the Masons but the end product was not there. Ashley Wilson and Jonny Pennock both added to their first half goals and Ashley Wilson completed his hat trick after Chris Hodgson's shot came back off the foot of the post and he tapped in from close range.
