SMALL businesses in Middlesbrough will be able to get free advice next week.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is providing help for small firms through a series of roadshows, designed to help companies comply with its requirements.
The sessions will be held at the Riverside Stadium, in Middlesbrough.
The roadshows aim to help financial advisors, mortgage intermediaries and general insurance brokers to better under-stand common areas which are topical and relevant to them, such as principles-based regulation.
They will also cover ways businesses can keep FSA-compliant, information about treating their customers fairly and how and when details about their businesses need to be reported to the regulator.
Places for the roadshows, to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 18 and 19, can be booked online at www.fsa.gov. uk/pages/Doing/Events/events/ roadshow.shtml
