A TEAM has unveiled its secret weapon for an It's A Knockout event in Scarborough on Sunday.
Triathlon star Raffi Aghanian, who takes part in Ironman challenges, will line up for the team entered by local home care provider Carewatch in the event starting at 11am on the playing fields at Yorkshire Coast College.
Despite his achievements, Carewatch manager Kate Hamilton urged other teams not to worry about his inclusion. She said: "While clearly Raffi will be the fittest member of our team, he will be compensating for others in the team who are not quite at the same peak of fitness.
"If it was an individual event, I am sure Raffi would do very well, but It's A Knockout is very much a team game, and the other teams need not fear us too much."
Mr Aghanian completed his seventh Ironman challenge in Austria in July, Carewatch having helped fund the trip.
He completed the 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile cycle race and a 26.2-mile run in a personal best of 15 hours, 11 minutes and 22 seconds.
He raised more than £450 each for Age Concern and the Alzheimer's Disease Society.
