THE former chief executive of Newcastle Airport has been appointed as the head of a regional rival, despite the on-going legal action against him.
Newcastle Airport announced that it was taking legal proceedings against John Parkin, 52, after he was suspended amid an inquiry into "contractual issues."
Mr Parkin has now taken over as chief executive at Leeds Bradford Airport.
