THREE people who have admitted handling stolen goods after a house break-in will be sentenced later this month.
Anthony Holtom and John Brazell were originally charged with burglary at the house, in Hartlepool, in which a 26inplasma television, DVD player, lap-top computer, mobile phone, wallet, bank cards and a towel were taken.
Yesterday, the 28-year-old men denied the May 7 break-in, but pleaded guilty to handling the stolen Samsung television, while Holtom also admitted handling a bank card taken in the raid, in Avondale Gardens.
Holtom, of Challoner Road, Hartlepool, also admitted having a bladed article in a public place - a 10in kitchen knife in his street - on May 15.
A third person, Rebecca Jacques, of Turnbull Street, also Hartlepool, admitted handling the stolen television and the towel taken from the house.
Jacques was given bail, while Holtom and Brazell, also of Turnbull Street, were remanded in custody until they are sentenced on September 28.
