Are you looking for a great outdoor event this summer? Why not come along and enjoy BBC Tees Valley Proms in the Park this Saturday at Centre Square, Middlesbrough.
The event is sponsored by NS&I, which has celebrated its own big event' this year - 50 years since the first Premium Bond draw in 1957.
BBC Proms in the Park features some of Britain's top musicians. The main event kicks off at 7.30pm with Matthew Davies of BBC Tees hosting the proceedings. Audiences will be treated to performances by world-class orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, conducted by Micha Dworzyñski, and solo violinist, Bradley Creswick. Pre-show entertainment includes the Wildcats of Kilkenny and the Tees Valley Youth Choir.
The day's events culminate with a live link-up to London's Royal Albert Hall for the Last Night of the Proms grand finale, so bring your flags and picnics and join in the celebrations at one of Britain's best-loved outdoor music extravaganzas.
