A CLIMATE change group is hosting a green festival to raise awareness.
Newton-le-Willows Climate Change Group has brought together a range of organisations to offer information on recycling, composting, carbon reduction, water saving and energy efficiency in the home.
An emphasis is being placed on children's activities and there will be a workshop where they can make musical instruments from household rubbish, answer a prize quiz and make badges.
The more active can try their hand at illuminating different light bulbs using an energy bike.
There will be free energy saving bulbs and a free raffle with green prizes, including a wind-up radio, a water butt, solar torches, rose bush and a composter.
The free event takes place in Newton-le-Willows Village Hall, Newton-le-Willows, near Bedale, from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, September 15.
