POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary at a school.
Thieves broke into Woodham Comprehensive School, in Newton Aycliffe, stealing electrical equipment worth about £2,000.
The incident took place between last Thursday night and Friday morning, when a door was forced open.
The intruders stole two Dell computers and keyboards and attempted to remove a projector attached to the ceiling.
Police say the thieves are thought to have tried to break into another of the school's buildings, though nothing was stolen.
